about

Well, we don't sing, we don't have a bass player, and the YOUNGEST member of the band will turn 60 this year(!), and yet to our astonishment, last year's "Leisure Suit" album has been riding the Relix/Jambands.com National Radio Top 30 Chart since it came out eight months ago, charting as high as #2 ahead of Dave Matthews Band, Gov't Mule, The Rolling Stones, Goose and other heroes. The band is now routinely playing for audiences younger than our own children, and after being voted NY's top emerging act in 2021 out of 64 bands, Organ Fairchild have been featured at major music festivals across the Northeast and Midwest (USA).

"Songs We Didn't Write" is the group's third full-length release and the first to be made up entirely of "cover" songs originally performed by artists such as The Beatles, The Grateful Dead, Harry Styles, Bob Marley and Leonard Cohen. As an entirely instrumental organ trio (organ/electric guitar/drums), all bass parts are played on the keyboard and the songs have been reimagined to bring out some exciting new colors and textures, with one song ("Hard to Handle") seeing a guest appearance by none other than legendary Jefferson Airplane guitarist and psychedelic music pioneer Jorma Kaukonen.

Organ Fairchild Buffalo, New York

“What it might sound like if Jimmy Smith and Grant Green were leading a jam band at Bonnaroo” - The Buffalo News

Voted #1 out of 64 emerging NY bands in 2021, Organ Fairchild have been described as a musical party that won't quit.

Take your old-school organ trio (organ, guitar and drums), add dance-heavy grooves and adventurous jamming, and shake vigorously. Enjoy all night long.
